Life is difficult at times, and for me, I believe I’ve hit my lows in the last few weeks. I don’t want to go into details as it’s personal
It’s so painfully overwhelming, and although deep in our heart we know this will get by eventually, we will feel frustrated, useless and helpless at the very moment
So I am writing up this article to encourage you and to let you know that there is definitely something you can do when life is difficult
FIVE THINGS TO REMEMBER
Five things to remember when everything goes wrong, this article emphasized that pain is temporary, and the tough time makes you grow
REMEMBER THE VERY FIRST LOW, YOU HAVE IN YOUR LIFE
We all struggle at different stages of life. Look back on your life, do you remember when’s the first time you feel defeated, when everything doesn’t work well? Do you find that problem still matter to you now
Most likely, it wouldn’t
I still remember the first time I felt everything went wrong in my life was in kindergarten. A kid bullied me so I fought back, and the teachers had to call our parents. I was so worried and upset, kept asking myself why did I get into such kind of trouble? I’m the unluckiest kid in the world
Wow. Now looking back, it’s such a trivial matter
The same thing could have applied. Perhaps a few years later, I would laugh it off when I look back. Or maybe it becomes so insignificant that I no longer can remember
VISUALIZE YOURSELF SOLVING ALL THE PROBLEMS
Visualization is a technique used by successful people to visualize their desired outcomes for ages. Then why not use this as a technique in our favor when we struggle
Close your eyes, and imagine everything is somehow resolved at the end. If we believe things are going to be fine, then our mind power will act onto it. It will program our brain to readily perceive and recognize the resources required to get out of the pain we are experiencing
I’m doing it now. I know everything will be ok
All of these problems will no longer be there
IT WILL BE A GREAT LEARNING OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
As the old lyrics, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. When we are frustrated, we tend to forget these terrible experiences often are the most valuable lessons in our lives
I know it’s hard to accept. But it is how it is
Shift your focus, instead of being depressed and complaining, see what you can learn from it. Ask yourself again, is this your responsibility to get into this? If so, embrace it, and tell yourself not to make the same mistakes again. If this is out of your control, think of ways to prevent this from happening again
FORCE YOURSELF TO SMILE
This is my favorite one, I’m smiling as I’m typing
It’s proven by science. The mere act of smiling can uplift your mood, lower stress, boost your immune system and prolong your life. Smiling spurs a chemical reaction in the brain, releasing certain hormones, including dopamine and serotonin. We all know these two are happy chemicals, which make us happy and reduce stress
Feels happier and less stress? This is what we need right now. Even we are defeated, we should still smile so we can trick our brains
WRITE UP A PLAN, LIKE WHAT I’M DOING
There’s no use crying over spilled milk. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, I want to come up with a plan to handle the situation. Once I’ve settled my mindset, I believe I’ve got what it takes to fix everything
I’m grateful that I have writing as my hobby because writing is undeniably a lot more effective compared to just reading a few articles. It strengthens my belief in my ability, and I think I am ready to deal with the issues I have now
If you are not into writing, give it a go anyway. It will clear your mind at least

Sometimes life is unfair, and it is hard to manage. Sometimes life is amazing and wonderful, and it is celebrated
There is no shortage of either side of the coin for most people, but for many people who live in a constant state of worry or find themselves overwhelmed by what life brings their way, it can be hard to manage
Getting out of bed in the morning can feel like a real struggle for some people; many people don’t win that struggle and suffer alone for a long time
So if you ever find yourself wanting to curl up and hide in your blankets, remember that this situation will pass and that there are ways to help yourself cope with what is going on in your life
