Where this trial has been going on for several weeks in New York City, American actor Johnny Depp filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife, Amber Heard, demanding compensation after accusing him of an article she had published in the Washington Post claiming that she had been subjected to domestic violence and because of this article Johnny Depp lost his career in the world Hollywood, and his reputation was subjected to gossip, so his name was associated with the person who violently beats his wife
One of the most prominent things that happened during this defamation trial is that Johnny Depp’s legal team presented more than 30 witnesses, who began to summon them one by one, and most of them challenged Amber Heard’s words, as the bruises that Amber suffered are nothing but allegations. Several witnesses proved that Amber did not appear on her any bruises or wounds, contrary to what she said, and as Johnny Depp gave his testimony, saying that he was the one who was abused by his ex-wife, Amber Heard, as she once cut off part of his finger after throwing a bottle at him, and he also submitted to the court several videos showing Amber’s betrayal of Johnny Depp, including with American actor James Franco and with Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, in the absence of her husband and in his home, and this is what the surveillance cameras showed, and psychiatrists also witnessed that Amber Heard had symptoms of borderline personality disorder and hysterical personality disorder, and many witnesses, therapists, nurses and close to both parties gave their testimony in this trial. Also, Amber’s legal team submitted the testimony of a psychiatrist who is a specialist in forensic medicine and psychiatry in New York City. She submitted her statement saying that after Amber’s diagnosis, she found that she suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder resulting from Johnny Depp’s violence against her, and that she does not agree with the opinion of the psychiatrist presented by the prosecution team. Here and there, the two are trying to prove that he is a victim of domestic violence. As Johnny Depp’s lawyer, Benjamin Chew, said that Amber Heard is the first accused of defaming Johnny Depp because of her previously published article.
